About Xi'an

Xi'an, the historical city, was called Chang'an in ancient times, and is now the capital of Shaanxi province. Since the earliest societies, humanity lived and multiplied here. It served as a capital for thirteen dynasties, including the Western Zhou, Qin, Western Han, Sui and Tang dynasties, spanning over 1120 years. It became the oriental cultural center of the Silk Road. The Terracotta Warriors is regarded as one of the eight greatest wonders in the world, and a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.In 1987, it was listed as one of the world cultural heritages by UNESCO. There are a lot of universities in Xi'an. So it is a city full of vigor and culturalambience.
